Canna Consultants has experience worldwide, navigating application and licensing for countries outside of the United States. Canna Consultants most recently assisted and successfully secured a 200 hectare license for a Paraguayan client in a competitive application process. Additionally, Canna Consultants has previously assisted with the development and application for clients in multiple countries in Southern Africa, including Lesotho, Zimbabwe, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. A portion of the Lesotho license was purchased by a publicly traded organization, funding the project with $19M while the client retained majority ownership in the organization.
Collectively, the Paraguay and Lesotho projects represent two of the largest licensed cannabis operations in the world.

Some countries authorize exportation of medical products following licensure worldwide. Navigating import and export regulations often requires meeting GAP and GMP standards, developing offtake agreements, in addition to meeting all in country regulations implemented by regulatory bodies. Canna Consultants can guide your organization through these hurdles as an applicant, operator, investor, and even potential purchaser of medical products in a country that allows for importation.

Additional design work was required for the entire area, beyond cannabis operations, including transit terminals for staff and visitors, medical services, training and education buildings, as well as an industrial processing and product transportation terminal including a private airstrip.
